History of the Autism-MMR Hypothesis – Part I

Ten years ago, in 1998, Andrew Wakefield and 12 others published a paper that suggested that a vaccine called the MMR (measles mumps and rubella) had a link with a new condition they described as giving kids bowel problems and autism.The UK media went crazy, falling over themselves to report on the MMR vaccine causing autism.
