I enjoyed this article. This research specifically indicates a target time period in which we can condition an individual from fears. I’m very hopeful now for someone like me with social anxiety can overcome my own fears. I just wonder how we can actually put this research to good use as soon as possible for those with psychopathologies. If I were entirely aware of extinguishing the fear after fear exposure, then it would just have a placebo effect, I’d assume.
