Simplest comparative example may be Engine and Gear box of a motor vehicle which play a similar role in a motor vehicle as does Brain and Heart in a human body . Where as a driver drives a motor vehicle a soul drives a living human and once the soul escapes the human is dead .

I have sufficiently discussed in my blog Soothing Shadows about Soul which is all important in any living being and Soul when escapes a body the person is dead though science rationale provides death as merely stop of functioning of heart or of a dead brain .

If one were to consider brain transplant as a perilous play with Nature then so is heart transplant or liver transplant etc. etc. which the medical science is already into . Hence a brain transplant will not amount to a breach of ethics …I mean its nothing new on ethical grounds . So same as change of an engine or gear box in a vehicle a brain transplant ( if successfully made in future ) it will not amount to breach of ethics … it will amount to only change of a human organ as simple as change of an engine in a motor vehicle .

What I mean is a brain transplant will only make a living persons’ functioning normal in a similar pattern as in case of a heart transplant but it shall not prolong the life of a person .
