For example, in the last two years I have had 19 surgeries. Because of this, I haven't had the ideal 1-week, 3-mos or 1 year post surgery period to evaluate the side affects of me going under general anesthesia. Instead, I have had one surgery after the next never getting more than 2 months in between surgeries. I am 46 yrs old and am suffering from life changing POCD symptoms. I am wondering if research has been done?Thank you,Julie Denver, CO

Do you know if research has been done to study POCD in someone who has had mulitple/repeat surgeries?
