Coincidently my migraines resolved when on anti-coagulant therapy. Post anticoagulant therapy they soon resumed which has to lead to some suspicion that the cause of migraines has some origin in the vascular system. I have been treating prophylactically for many years with daily naproxen and also take anti-depressant meds. I'm also fast approaching menopause. Have these changes reduced the aura-type migraines?My daughter is 21, and told me recently that all the migraines she gets are preceded by aura. I'm wondering if estrogen levels have anything to do with the aura component?Thanks for the study summary; I'll share it with my doc the next time I go.
