I have had migraines since I was 4. I have tried EVERYTHING! I also now have gastroparesis from pain meds. Do the stimulators work and where is a dr in the Omaha area? I need help. I have gone off all meds so it is not a rebound effect. I am welling to do a trial. Anyone out there?

Where were your headaches? I have continous severe bilateral temporal headaches and was wondering if the stimulator could help me. Where did you go for the procedure? i am in ontario

I have a stimulator and for me it is a life change. I had daily headaches and got the stimulator as part of a study, my headaches are mostly non existant, I could not be happier, no more meds:} Thank you Dr Saper at MHNI, I can’t thank you enough.

Can you give me more info on your daughter’s device & who did the procedure as well as its effectiveness? My daughter has been suffering since she was 2, and we are willing to look at all treatments to enable her to live productively.

This is not a correct placement of the unit and quite a faulty description. My daughter has one implanted and its nothing like that.

Migraines are not a physical problem, migraines are caused by emotional distress and ‘nerve stimulation’ only gets rid of the symptom not the illness.
