My friend also has epilepsy and if he gets such a sizure, he might sometimes fall into a deep sleep immediately after. When he wakes up he asks me why he is in bed and yet before that he was doing something totally different......he never remembers everything in between. I would say yes. Day before yesterday, I was drinking water, i just felt something, but when I was concious I found myself reading a Newspaper probably 10-12 ft away from where I was drinking water.
