Hi, Kev.

One would think that anyone with a bit of knowledge about the Omnibus hearings would know that the whole "measles causation" hypothesis is dead. But only recently Katie Wright claimed that her son has measles in his gut. I seriously doubt that she had him tested at all (she may be going on the word of the Krigsman and Wakefield at "Thoughtful House" where she took her son). If he has measles confirmed in his intestine by real science he'd be the first ever. I'd guess they sent a biopsy off to a lab that is working with Wakefield now and using the Kawashima primer that gives false positives on measles because it's not specific to measles, it also amplifies a normal human protein).

Katie Wright, for the uninitiated is the daughter of Bob and Suzanne, founders of "Autism Speaks."

Hi Phil,

No the hearings continue later this month if I recall correctly.

Hi Jaymee,

Do you have any published papers that expand on this piece?

I was going to correct you on that re the Cedillo case, Kev - and you already picked up the error!

I look forward to the second part. Hopefully the closing note is Wakefield losing his right to practice (has that decision been made yet?).

Brief correction - The Cedillo hearings were part of the dual MMR/Thiomersal strand, not (as I stated above) just MMR.
