I recently had lipoma surgery on my legs and ended up with a large circular bruise on one of the surgical sites. I was told a circular pad was put on my leg to ground the cautery equipment during surgery. The physician stated it shouldn't have been placed on the surgical field. My hips are also very sore as are my knees one month post surgery. I'd like to know what happened and who strapped the grounding pad so tight as to bruise me and cause me more pain. yes I would like my surgery to be video taped.
